For our client, well-known and trusted partner in fastener solutions, offering also a large assortment of tools, industrial merchandise and safety articles to assist in every aspect of your fastening needs , we are looking for the Manager of Business Applications Team located in Brno, CZ.
Your future role
Job Purpose: Manager Business applications is responsible for the team delivering support and maintenance of the Business applications in scope to provide right solutions for the business. Primary responsibilities include people management, Service delivery, and Problem management. Manager business applications also plays a role of technical lead providing necessary guidance to the team on technical solutions. Key Challenges • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key customers at all levels to understand their business drivers and work with the application administrators to understand requirements and deliver/promote technical solutions as appropriate • Ensure that team, team/departmental and team/business communications are clear and effective. • Adapting to ever changing priorities. • Ensuring consistent and fair design and application of policy and procedures. • Ensure that actions taken are in line with wider company goals and objectives. • Represent the services performed by the team in meetings and presentations for customers and business partners. • Operating in a matrix management culture and environment. Principal Accountabilities: People management • Setting business goals in accordance with the business strategy • Delegation and managing delivery of tasks and projects for the team • Performance management and career development of team members • Day to day people management tasks such as Attendance, leave planning, work load management, etc Technical Lead • Application manager for business applications such as SAP, SAP-CRM, EDI, etc. • Manage and provide support to critical business application systems. • Monitor everyday operations of application support & maintenance team and provide regular feedback Service Delivery Management • Ensure teams compliance to policies and procedures • Adherence to SLA’s and KPI’s, continuous improvement in service delivery • Responsible for the managing the maintenance of relevant support documentation • Drive Problem Management through discovery and analysis of incident root cause. Applies analysis to incident and problem data to drive action for permanent resolution • Managing 3rd party relationship – Ensure adherence to contract, SLA’s etc
Skills, Know-How and experience • Minimum 4 years in IT management position or similar (10+ staff) • Experience with international/worldwide support • Specialist/expert knowledge about Enterprise business applications, preferably one of these applications (SAP: R/3, CRM, VRM, LES, BW, Hybris, Step, WebMethods, etc • Experience of high change environments • Ability to act tactically and operationally within a clear strategic framework • Hands-on experience of IT service operations processes • Very strong analytical and problem solving skills • Experience with methodologies like ITIL, Agile, LEAN, KANBAN, etc will be an advantage • Strong communication, influencing, interpersonal and negotiating skills • Languages: fluent English
