Our client has recently set up a new global programme which is being run out of the EU. This project will reshape the current portfolio of the company and will represent a pivotal point for the history of the company. Now, we are seeking an appropriate candidate for a new position OSS System Architect
Your future role
As Operations Support Systems architect you will help design solutions spanning a broad range of technology sectors to support and enhance the capabilities of the end-point devices Main role responsibilities and tasks: - • Develop architectural solutions for components and for the overall system that align with business and system requirements, and are ready to implement/install • Work with other system architects to ensure the solution will work well with other components • Responsible for production of documentation and the handover into implementation • Work with multiple stakeholders in a complex, geographically diverse, federated business and IT environment • Receive feedback from Enterprise Architects to understand the organizational and business requirements • Help define and review system requirements, documenting possible technical solution alternatives
What we expect? • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, SW/Systems Engineering or equivalent field. • At least 5 years of IT architectural experience, preferably certified in architecture • Highly capable and knowledgeable, and able to work with a high-degree of autonomy on complex architectural tasks • Good knowledge of system engineering concepts, especially requirements and modelling • Experience in preparing software and hardware topologies for components • Strong knowledge of Data Centers and related architectural concepts • Previous experience in developing solutions architecture at different level of granularity • Experience in leading complex, cross-functional problem-solving initiatives. • Strong understanding of information systems from a holistic perspective; key technologies and limitations; and systems modelling and enterprise frameworks. • Experience with service oriented architecture, in particular microservices. • Good knowledge of UML and Software Engineering frameworks. • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies, in particular Scrum. • Strong, demonstrable architectural knowledge in at least 5 of those o End-point device management o Cloud management platforms o Configuration management databases o Infrastructure-as-a-service architectures o Cloud based backup/restore systems o Remote server monitoring o Cloud based log analysis o Big Data architectures o Enterprise application markets o Hybrid cloud architectures • Excellent verbal and written English skills. • Willingness to travel from time to time. • Self-driven, and ability to work at pace in a dynamic organisation. • EU citizenship or long-term residency permit
