Our client has recently set up a new global programme which is being run out of the EU. This project will reshape the current portfolio of the company and will represent a pivotal point for the history of the company. Now, we are seeking an appropriate candidate for a new position Security Architect
Your future role
This role will be building security architecture and engineering security systems, as well as working closely with DevOps teams to ensure continuity and speed of releases. They should also be able to document the requirements, procedures, and protocols of the architecture and systems they create. Main role responsibilities and tasks: - Govern domain architectural decisions and ensure the architecture aligns with the corporate IT roadmap. - Guide the technical leaders to ensure compliance to projects' architectural decisions. - Look for and anticipate better ways to utilize current technologies and improve processes. - Improve security posture and performance. - Find ways to build in better countermeasures that protect or mitigate risk. - Experience creating and implementing security policies based on industry best practices and security standards - Creating and implementing security policies based on industry best practices and security standards. - Support the cause of Information Security throughout the company by actively participating as a trusted information security advisor to WFS. - Monitor changes in the technical, legal and regulatory arenas affecting Information Security, alert management accordingly.
What we expect? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, SW/Systems Engineering or equivalent field; or equivalent and demonstrable practical experience. • Good knowledge of cyber security norms such as: o GDPR o HIPAA • Knowledge of at least one of the standardization bodies such as: o BSI o NIST o ENISA o OWASP • Grasp of common security certifications such as: o ISO27k o Common Criteria o HITRUST • Good understanding of Secure Software Development Life Cycle • Understanding of the challenges and solutions to administering security for a global organization and ability to develop a corresponding security model • Experience creating and implementing security policies based on industry best practices and security standards • Ability to detect and track emerging threats and trends across the Internet o Experience with related tools such as Blackduck, Whitesource, Snyk, or others • Strong understanding of network security o Experience in implementing and maintaining Firewalls. o Familiarity with VPN technology o Proficient with E-Mail security solutions and have an understanding of how mail routing / filtering works • Proficient with SIEM solutions (implementation and administration) • Proficient with centrally managed anti-virus solutions • Familiarity with Active directory and group policies • Familiarity with Linux and Microsoft Windows Server operating system security • Preferably experience in supporting a software development team with security practices • Experience in working in a global organization. • Excellent verbal and written English skills. • Willingness to travel from time to time. • Self-driven, and ability to work with limited guidance. • Preferably experience in working at an innovation-oriented environment.
