The Industrial Process Filtration EMEA Division with app. 250 employees operates with high autonomy and is part of the “Filtration-Group”. The Division has a well-branded Business Unit which is a provider of oil & gas up- and midstream filter solutions (oil & gas filtration equipment, cartridges, filter housings, etc.).
The receipt of new certificates and patents guarantees an advantage in competition. Therefore, the Business Unit now is looking for a Sales Engineer who will be in charge for the D-A-CH region & Czech Republic and Hungary, depending on qualification and experience of the future position holder the region could also include France.
Your future role
The newly created function will report to the Account Sales Manager Europe, located in Italy, who reports to the Business Unit Manager, located in Dubai. The position holder closely will cooperate with his/her sales colleagues in the EMEA region, supported by technical and administrative staff from headquarters.
Working for a world market leader the primary job function is to secure profitable sales from a diverse range of both old and new oil & gas up/mid/downstream customers within assigned territories. The role works closely with customers to ensure that a high level of technical service and competitive solutions are achieved. The Sales Engineer will motivate and guide the Distribution Partners in the region and perform own direct sales activities in a value based solution orientated sales business.
Tasks in detail will be:
After his/her technical or commercial education and (preferably) experience in the chemical-/process engineering industry the new position holder has gained experience in selling components and solutions into the oil & gas industry (petrochemical companies, refineries). Thanks to high technical and communicative competence, the candidate will be able to build long-term positive client relations.
Bringing along knowledge of oil & gas up/mid/downstream processes is desired. Previous experience of working at customer locations would be a plus.
The candidate is fluent in German and in English, French language skills would be an advantage. Experiences in handling standard computer software are also mandatory.
The future position holder is willing to travel on an international level, is able to adjust to different cultures and challenged to realise targets independently and in a team. He/she is characterized by a high level of self-motivation. Additionally he/she is confident and outgoing, patient and adaptable, diplomatic and assertive.
